It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Chubaty of Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anne Chubaty to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Matt; her daughter Cathy Laszlo; her sons-in-law, Ken Laszlo and Chuck Ring; and her parents, William Oryschak and Mary Oryschak.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Chubaty-Ring, Ron Chubaty and Randy Chubaty (Starla); her grandchildren, Christy Ring (Dave Snell), Caitlin Ring (Lindsey Panteluk), Alex Chubaty, Amanda Chubaty and Alyssa Laszlo (Craig Sgambellone); her siblings, Mary Kyrzyk, Olga Harasymchuk and John Oryschak (Elizabeth); and her brother-in-law Eugene Kyrzyk.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM and at 12:30 PM at the St Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church (35 Marcie St, Winnipeg, MB R2G3S4).
