He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard and Maria; and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Adela; his sons, Robert (Nancy) and Jim (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Tyler and Samantha; his sister Sophie Targonski; his nephew Richard Targonski (Bunny); his niece Lucy Thompson; and his extended family, Germany and Scotland.

Due to the current Provincial Pandemic restrictions a private family funeral will be held.
