He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Galas and Francis Galas; and his siblings, Ted, Brian, Donald, Jessie and Isabel.
He is survived by: his wife Iris; his sons, Michael (Annette) and David; and his grandsons, Steven, Kevin, Brandon and Jordan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as a large extended family.
