With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Antonio Alves (Winnipeg, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Antonio farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Antonio is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Lisa and Anthony; his brother-in-law Andrew; his sister Lizete (Manuel); and his sibling's children, Ivete, Lilia and Helder.
From Spring teas at the church, to donating most of the furniture in our Portugal apartment to people who had came from the Ukraine with nothing.
