He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius and Maria; and his siblings, Jake, Ed, Harry and Betty.

He is survived by: his wife Kate; his children, Ellen and Jeff; his grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew, Nathan Huebert and Kate Ferguson; his sister Irene Furgale; and his sisters-in-law, Sophie Huebert and Gloria Huebert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
