She was predeceased by: her mother Anna Maria Buehler; her son Gregory; her husband Douglas Bowman; her father Rev. Eugene Buehler; and her siblings, Eberhart Buehler (Nancy), Irmgard Buehler, Ursula Buehler, Martin Buehler (late Hazel) and Herbert Buehler (Judy).
She is survived by: her brother Eberhard; her children, Rev. Jeffrey B. Smith (Kathryn), Marilyn McCarthy (Paul) and Nancy James (Michael); her sister Gisela Danielson (late Rod); her grandchildren, Alyson (Liz), Colin (Melissa), Laura Smith (Julien), Meaghan Backer (Chris), Sean, Brendan McCarthy, Kaitlyn Llewellyn (Jason), Jordan (Carmen), Brenna Smith, Travis, Shayne James and Madison Nagy (Cole); and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Lexi Backer, Eileen, Anitta Smith, Garrett, Avery Smith, Lucas and Ryker Smith.
