It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Berneda Leifeld (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. You may also light a candle in honor of Berneda Leifeld.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sophia Pelster (Von Bonn) and Adolph Pelster; and her siblings, Sally Vacha, Lawrence, Clarence and Melvin Pelster.

She is survived by : her sons, Ron Leifeld (Ellen) of Alva, Jim Leifeld (Jennifer) of Petersburg and Ken Leifeld (Angela) of Humphrey; her brothers, Don Pelster (Rosie) of Petersburg and Delmer Pelster (Pauline) of Petersburg; and her sister-in-law Reola Pelster (Lawrence) of Petersburg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Due to concerns over Covid-19, only family and relatives are included.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Petersburg Area Foundation Fund, care of the Boone County Foundation, P. O. Box 66, Albion, NE, 68620.
