Brenda Grace Murdock Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the death of our beloved Mother, Brenda Grace Murdock born February 27, 1951. She passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side in Winnipeg Manitoba on March 26, 2024 at the age of 73 years old. She was predeceased by her husband Desimir Zdravkovic, her parents Myrtle and Edgar Murdock, sister Elaine Flett, brothers; Edgar (Pops) Murdock, and Alliston (Donny) Murdock, and her granddaughter Sheryll Desmarais.
She is survived by her children Cynthia Murdock and Frederick Murdock (Mary), her siblings; Ethel Murdock (Joe), Elizabeth (Betty) Elsley (Fern), Joyce Cardinal, Johnathon Murdock (Deborah). Her grandchildren; Vanessa Delorme (Melvin), Nathaniel Desmarais (Robin), Ronald Jr. Sinclair, Stephen and Madison Johnston.
Brenda leaves behind her eight great grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Our mother suffered a number of strokes, she had not been able to make a full recovery from. She was born in Fisher River Mb.
She moved to Winnipeg when she was in her teen years. She worked as a Chaplain for Headingley Correctional Centre, and for many years a Cleaning Operative for a professional family. She was a light to everyone that knew her, dearly loved by many, she made friends easily, loved helping others, generous and hard working, such a beautiful woman will be missed.
We are honouring our Mothers wishes for cremation, there will be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers or planting a tree, instead family is requesting a donation be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
