It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brian Chesnut (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Brian Chesnut to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris and Agnes; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Gaylene; his sons, Michael (Alexandra) and Stephen (LeeAnne); and his siblings, Allan, Helen and Susan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The previous semester he pushed himself to embrace unfamiliar technology, so he could help his students learn as COVID-19 forced his classes online.
