He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Pompana and Susan Pompana (Hall); his siblings, Delores, Lucy, Muriel, Barry, Mervin, Reginald, Roderick, Alden, Arnold and Walter; and his close friend Suzanne Winberg.

He is survived by: his daughter Daphne Dawn Pompana; his granddaughter Anissa; his great grandchildren, Wakiya, Owe and Hoksidatokc'a; his daughters, Lila Dakota Sundance Pompana and Lucy Helen Fowler (Benito Delgado); his grandson Azmar (Lila); his sister-in-law Elsie; his nieces, Yvonne and Bobbi; and also, Barbara McKay and Laura Cowie.
