She is survived by: her children, Vicki Steele (Ken), Terri Macdonald, Mark Macdonald and Jodi Schafer (Konrad); her grandchildren, Dayna Kung (Bruce), Darcie Anderson (Ryan), Devray Steele, Eric Chmilar and Brianne Chmilar; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Lily Kung, Jordynn, Brayden Anderson and Jayce Chmilar; and her brothers, Lorne and Howard.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Carol's memory may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Alzheimer Society of BC.
