She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Finlay "May" Parkes and George Henry Parkes; her brother-in-law Jim Lindstrom; and her sister Joan Lindstrom (Jim). She is survived by: her husband Curtis Berry Johnson; her children, Todd (Jennifer), Mark (Carolyn), Brad (Jodi) and Liza (Ben); her grandchildren, Riley, Georgia, Dorian, Sadie, Maeve, Brock, Finlay and William; and her siblings, Joyce Anderson (Brian), Rosemary Siemens and Dave Parkes (Beverly). She is also survived by many friends from her church family.
In lieu of flowers, Carolyn wanted any donations to be made to Kilcona Park Alliance Church Building Fund or Refugee Fund, to help support the work and future of the church she loved.
