She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Ewert and Helen Ewert; her siblings, Rocky Ewert (Irene), Peter Ewert (Elenor), Ernie Ewert, Marty Johnstone (Don) and Helen Pfisterer; and her brother-in-law John Krahn.

She is survived by: her husband Jake Wiens; her children, Wendy Fergusson (Ian), Terry Wiens (Jenn) and Jackie Allen (Barry); her grandchildren, Katie, Emylea and Griffin; her sister Elfrieda "Fritz" Krahn; and her brother-in-law Fred Pfisterer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home Chapel (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home (171 King St S, Waterloo, ON N2J1P7). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Parkview Cemetery (335 University Ave E, Waterloo, ON N2K3M7).
