He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Shaffer and Mary Shaffer. He is survived by: his children, Gertrude Louise Shaffer, Owen (Patti), Todd (Karen), Stewart (Rachel), Robert (Tanis) and Nora (Jason); and his grandchildren, Andrea, Megan, Heather, Bryn, Jack, Mark, Gage, Noelle and Tatum.
