He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Bittern; his brother Joseph (Pete); his niece Clara Bushie; his daughters, Mary Louise, Vera Lorna, Leana Theresa June and Violet; and his great-nephew Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Wilma Pascal, Adolph Bittern Darlene Stagg (Arlene), Muriel Bittern, Gerald Severite Ronald Bittern (Donna), Merle Bittern and Viola McElwain (John). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
