She was predeceased by: her parents, Tiny and Peter (Marjory Moneas); and her son Brian Thickfoot Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Brian Thickfoot; her daughters, Alicia Moneyas (Terrance Bird) and Dephne Choken; her adoptive son Devon Bushie; and her siblings, Wilma Choken Bird, Edgar Bird (Lena) and Harley Moneyas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Black River Band Hall.
