It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Joseph Martin Olenick (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Daniel's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Daniel has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his father Ken Olenick; and his sister Kim Funk. He is survived by: his mother June; his brothers, Kenny and Darren (Jen); his brother-in-law Kevin Funk (Corrine); his niece Candace Smith (Keith); his nephew Kyler Funk (Nicole); his stepnephew Alec (Chris); and his friend Todd Ewach.
