He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn. He is survived by: his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Michelle; and his grandchildren, Ryann, Keigan and Alexis. He is also survived by friends, UA Local 254 Brothers.

In lieu of flowers, David has asked everyone to donate blood to Canadian Blood Services.
