He was predeceased by : his parents, William Wilson and Margaret Wilson; his wife Viola Salmonson; his granddaughter Bonnie Mitchell; his siblings, Stan, Alvin, Anne and Edna Arnason; his parents-in-law, Jonas and Gerda Salmonson; his siblings-in-law, Biff Arnason, Alrik Salmonson, Joel Solmonson, Earle Wilkinson, Alice Wilson, Alma Wilson, Myrtle Salmonson, Sarah Gaetz and Anna Wilkinson; his nieces, Karin Cymbalisty and Linda Wilson; and his nephew Murray Wilkinson.
He is survived by : his children, Grant (Janet), Gary (Sandra) and Joanne (Jim Poirier); his grandchildren, Angela, Mark Poirier (Tara), Carina Tanious (Ryan), Todd Poirier (Kelsey), David, Liana Chandran (Daniel) and Scott Poirier; his great grandchildren, Tasha, Connor and Brayden; and his siblings-in-law, Edith Benson (Harvey) and Ken Gaetz.
