He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; his daughter Sharon Gross; his great grandchild Sara Jane; his parents, Johann Kehler and Helena Kehler; and his siblings, John (Louella), Helen (Jake), Nettie (Charlie), Mary (Jake), Frank (Annie), Jake (Marie), Peter (Esther), Harry (Doreen), Ben (Martha), Agathe (John) and Kay (Dick).

He is survived by: his children, Darrell Kehler (Iris) of High River, AB, Marvin Kehler (Darlene) of High Bluff, MB and Marcia Neuschwander (Johannes) of Fortier, MB; his son-in-law Terry Gross (Shirley); and his grandchildren, Darren (Alyssa), Kimberly Gross, Adam Kehler (Trish), Jon Kehler (Abbey), Jared Kehler (Kristin), Elyse Plett (Justin), Daniel Kehler (Randi) and Timothy Neuschwander. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
