David Kolson Obituary

We announce the death of David Kolson (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 69. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kolson and Eleanora Kolson; his brother Cliff Kolson; and his stepson Alan Grouette. He is survived by: his wife Gisele Grouette; his stepdaughter Nicole Napoleone (Sal); his brother Danny Kolson (Gayle); his sister-in-law Val Kolson; his grandchildren, Paul Napoleone, Sydney Napoleone and Stacey Thiessen (Evan); his great grandchild Hayden Thiessen; his nieces, Crystal Kolson, Carlie Miller (Jarrett), Andrea Worcester (Glenn) and Tracy Martinez (Roberto); and his daughter Doreen Braun.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the ALS (Manitoba) Foundation in honor of Cliff Kolson.
