He is survived by: his siblings, Tom (Marsha), Dan (Heidi), Shirley, Susie (Bruce) and Sandy (Kerry); his nieces and nephews, Phillip Hakeem, Lisa, David, Thomas Shearer, Caley, Sara Goray, Tyler, Terrence (Ainsley) and Taylor Sampson; his great-niece Laila-Mae; and his great-nephews, Michael and Casey. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
