It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Spence of Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, David is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Arthur Spence and Alice; and his brothers, Ronald Albert and Andrew James. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Desjarlais; his daughters, Eileen and Elizabeth (James); his grandchildren, Eric David and Sarah Lucille; and his sisters, Kathy Mallett and Jean Nobess. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
