It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denis Lecoq of Winnipeg, Manitoba, born in Bruxelles, Manitoba, who passed away on January 29, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marie-Josephe Durand; his father Antoine Lecoq; his siblings, Angele Chaperon (Bert), Antoinette Coppens (Harry) and Laurent Lecoq (Bonny); his parents-in-law, Joseph Durand, Alice and Marie-Jeanne; his in-laws, Solange Lecoq, Denis Durand, Henri Durand (Angeline), Guy Durand, Frances Durand, Ange-Aimée Simoens and Rolande Hague; and his parent Guillemine Lecoq.

He is survived by: his children, Michel, Greg, Jo-Lyn (Brad Cadieux) and Ryan-Lee (Allison Neil); his grandchildren, Sara Scheschuk, Nathanial, Cassandra Cadieux, Joshua, Elise Merrett, Nikohlus and Devin Lecoq; his great grandchild Elijah; his siblings, Leon Lecoq and Yvonne Callawaert (Robert); and his in-laws, Andre Durand (Jeannette), Diane Durand, Therese Durand and Gerry Simoens. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
