Diane Byers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Byers (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on December 6, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Diane Byers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ken Howitt and Iliene Howitt; and her brother-in-law Glen Hunter. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Tomiski (Barry) of Winnipeg and Delene Emick (Chris) of Virginia; her grandsons, Devin, Travis Tomiski of Winnipeg, Joshua, Zachary and Matthew Emick of North Carolina; her sister Mimi Hunter of Brandon; her nephews, Mark Hunter of Ontario, Dean Hunter and Jeff Hunter (Dena) of Brandon; her stepdaughters, Lynda Halloran (Buck) of Arizona and Patti Woods; and her stepgrandchildren, Kim Smith (Nick) of New Jersey, Tim Gault (Kelcey) of Texas, Anson and Grayson Woods.
We would like to express our gratitude for the care Diane received at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home and the compassionate staff on the West Wing Covid-19 unit.
In acknowledgement of Diane's love of cats and helping anyone in need, donations in her memory may be made to the Craig Street Cats animal shelter or Siloam Mission, both in Winnipeg.
