Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Diane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Gingell; and her sister Evelyn Podolak. She is survived by: her pet Lulu; her sister Elaine Prokopishin; her nieces, Karen Prokopishin and Krista Fiolleau; her great-nieces, Katelyn Fiolleau and Sky Fiolleau; René Fiolleau. She is also survived by her family and her friends.

To honour her memory the family suggests a donation to the Winnipeg Human Society.
