With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dobrodiyka Jane Luchak (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on January 29, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Yelena Romaniuk (Worobets) and Ivan Romaniuk; and her siblings, Pearl, Mary, Anne, Nikolai and Harry.
She is survived by: her children, Orysia Luchak (Myron Tarasiuk) and Taras Luchak (Karen Luchak); her grandchildren, Andriana Tarasiuk (Simeon Rusnak), Nicholas Luchak (Caroline Farris) and Markian Tarasiuk; and her great grandchild Francis Dmytro Luchak Farris.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dobrodiyka Jane's memory to the Ukrainian Museum of Canada-Edmonton Branch, Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (Winnipeg), Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of St. John the Baptist (Edmonton), St. Andrew's College (University of Manitoba) or the charity of your choice.
