He was predeceased by: his wife Verna; his brothers, Gene Bailey and Fred Buhay; and his parents, Margaret and Peter.
He is survived by: his son Donald; his daughter-in-law Alesia Gordienko; his daughter Lisa; and his son-in-law Daniel Chaput. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
This trade was the foundation for his later profession as a salesman in building materials.
