With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Poetker (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on November 22, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill and Betty; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley (Scott) and Crystal (Ryan); his granddaughters, Savannah and Mylie; his brothers, Rudy (Allison) and Dennis (Lillian); and his siblings' children, Mark, Brian, Jon, Kevin, Jocelyn and Amy.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private graveside burial service will be held at 1:00 p. m., Monday, November 30 at Brookside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Don's memory to Canadian Diabetes or the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba.
