With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dorcas Patricia Varga (Winnipeg, Manitoba), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oswald James and Zelzah James; her husband Bernard Varga; and her siblings, Orville James, Gillian Knights and Mary McLean.
She is survived by: her daughters, Liza Holdorf (Sterling) of Ventura and Tricia Coulter (Brendan) of Anola, Manitoba; her grandchildren, Sophia Holdorf and Max Holdorf of Ventura, California; and her sister Maureen James of Maple, Ontario. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends, and brothers and sisters.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Desjardins Funeral Home (357 Des Meurons St, Winnipeg, MB R2H2N6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Christian ministry, dementia care organization, or charity of choice in Patricia's memory.
