It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Eugene Frobisher (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Douglas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Douglas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace and Martha; and his siblings, Shirley Anne and Paul. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his sons, Brian (Stacey) and Jared; his grandson Ace; and his sister Darlene (Rick). He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coutu Funeral Chapel (680 Archibald St, Winnipeg, MB R2J0Y4).
