She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; her son Grant; and her parents, Alfred Pinder and Gertrude Pinder. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Andrew and Beverley Arnold (Darrell); her daughter-in-law Mona Checkley; and her siblings, Bud Pinder and Pearl Miller (Doug). She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edith's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
