He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Gander and Jim Gander; his wife Carol; and his brothers, Warren and Raymond.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason (Tanya) and Trent; his nephews, Michael, Jeff and Ryan; and his niece Maureen.
He donated regularly to the Winnipeg Humane Society and adopted numerous pets; two cats, which he really loved, were Titus and Pebbles.
