He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel E. Raposo and Mariana Raposo. He is survived by: his wife Luisa; his children, Jason (Célia), Chris (Tyler) and Tony; his granddaughter Sofia; his siblings, Josefine (Asterio) and Maria; and his sibling-in-law Lurdes (Duarte). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in honor of Edward.
