She was predeceased by : her husband Rudy; and her daughter Christel. She is survived by : her children, Reinhard (Marlene), Helmut (Angie), Gary (Teresa) and Birgit; her grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, Justin, Katrina and Ryan; her siblings, Helma and Harry (Cheryl); and her sisters-in-law, Gail and Margaret. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Concordia Avenue Church of God (705 Concordia Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2K4J8). A burial was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens (4477 Main St, West Saint Paul, MB R4A4A7).
