He was predeceased by : his parents, Abe Nickel and Agnes Nickel. He is survived by : his wife Rosella; his children, Garry Nickel (Sandra), Garth Nickel (Corinne) and Lori Loney (Steven); and his grandchildren, Trevor (Rachel), Collin, Sydney, Caleb and Sloane. He is also survived by 3 sisters and 7 brothers.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 1:00 p. m. for immediate family only due to Covid restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mission Aviation Fellowship or Heart and Stroke Foundation Canada.
