He is survived by: his stepfather Archie Thurston; his wife Rita; his children, Greg, Jeff, Sherri and Steven (Crystal); his grandchildren, Chanelle, Emma, Jett, Mandy, Carson, Jayla, Brie, Cory (Amy), Jaxon, Jordan, Ty and Jack; his stepsiblings, Ida Thurston, Roy Thurston (Louise) and Joan Ross; and his sister-in-law Irene Lajoie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
