“My sympathies to friends and family. I met Ernesta when she was the Principal at St Theresa Point, off and on including Baker Lake. She had a reputation. An Asst Supt. took me all over the North to introduced me but bailed out at St Theresa. We had a cold introduction which I always teased her about but we soon became good friends. Ernesta was intelligent, demanding yet kind and had a sense of humour. Many students in the North were blessed to have her in their lives.”
