He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Isreal Zastre and Doralice Zastre; his spouse Beverly Cronin; his children, Tammy Zastre (Jeff Blakeston), Candice Houston (Karl Houston) and Jay Zastre (Jasmine Steuart-Reilly); his grandchildren, Toressa, Max, Layla, Zack, Colby, Johnny, Joycee and Jordin; his stepdaughters, Theresa and Tina; his stepgrandchildren, Ben and Edie; and his siblings, Lorraine Sigurdson, Eva Thibert, Andy Zastre, Elsie Bray, Russel Zastre and Doris Wilkinson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Cancer Care Manitoba or Riverview Health Centre in Ernie's memory.
