He was predeceased by: his parents, Josip Kvaternik and Dragica Kvaternik; his brothers, Zdenko, Zvonko and Ivica; and his grandson Jakob.
He is survived by: his wife Marija; his children, Marijana (Leif) and Eugen Jr. (Robin); his grandchildren, Valentina, Luka, Josip, Magdalena, Eugen III, Andjela and Dominik; and his siblings, Drago, Vlado and Zdenka.
