He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lavallee and Delima Lavallee; his parents-in-law, Benoit and Margaret Allard; his brother Del; and his brothers-in-law, Robert and Mel.

He is survived by: his wife Noella; and his children, Sam (Guy), Paula (Joey), Greg (Tammy), Branden (Katie) and Margaret-Ann. He is also survived by five sisters and ten brothers and their spouses, six sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law and their spouses.
