He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram Rempel and Maria Rempel; and his siblings-in-law, Anne Rempel, Edward Klassen and Peter Janzen.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his daughters, Charlotte (Randy), Westen, Olivia (Tanner), Kezia (Joe), Riana, Rosemarie, Waldon, Lenora (John), Emmy-Lou, Sarah (Ryan) and Angela (Dave); his brothers, Henry and Dietrich (Helen); and his sisters-in-law, Lydia Janzen, Helen Klassen and Agnes Olfert (John). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
