He is survived by: his siblings, Willy and Rita; his daughter Hildi; his foster daughter Louise; his sister Lena; his friend Ursula Grubert; his daughters, Marlene Regier (Herb), Lorie Battershill, Lydia Penner (Lyle) and Louise Buors; his grandchildren, Melanie Olfert, Heidi Johnson, David Regier, Bill Battershill, James Battershill, Andrea Wiebe and Joel Penner; and his great grandchildren, Easton, Griffin, Cooper Olfert, Hannah, Hailey Johnson, Elsie Regier, George, Charles Battershill, Paxton and Grayson Wiebe. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McIvor Church's "Campership Fund".
