He was predeceased by: his wife Dot (Grand Beach); and his siblings, Hans, Ernest, Robert, Alice, Ida, Lil, Norma and Doris.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy (Dave); his grandson Clay (Jovana); and his brother Vic (Marlene).
He was a dedicated supporter of the local Alzheimer's Society, and set up an annual bursary for a welding student at LSRCS, through the Selkirk and District Foundation.
