He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Hagenlocher; his stepsons, Peter Gyorfy and David Gyorfy; his daughter Edda Imhof; and his parents, Lousie and Gustav.

He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Linda Gyorfy; his granddaughters, Christina Ackland (Tom), Samantha Gyorfy and Elizabeth Gyorfy (Richard); his great grandchildren, Hannah, Caitlin, Jackson, Nicholas, Ivorie, Emma and Athena; his stepson Rob Gyorfy; his son Peter Hagenlocher (Evril); his grandchildren, Grace Macleod, Heidi, Samuel Hagenlocher and Pam Kreis; his great grandchildren, Richard, Daniel, Roderick, Aila, Ewen, Lily, Julia and Sydney; and his siblings, Lisa, Gustal, Rolf and Enrich.
