He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Saurer and Marie Saurer Zumbach; and his brother Walter Saurer. He is survived by: his husband Jeff McPherson; his siblings, Klara, Erich Ruf-Saurer, Franziska, Beni, Paul Saurer, Therese, Michel Briguet-Saurer, Fabienne and Olivier; and his pets, Monroe, Penny, Bear, Emme, Duncan and Jeff.
