“The California Girls wish to extend our sincere condolences to Gavin's famiy. Gavin was the coach of our son's Varsity View hockey team. He was a big man, but always soft spoken and kind. The boys thrived under his coaching, and eventually won the ten year old city championship in their league with Coach Speirs. The parents also benefitted from Gavin's welcoming and accepting attitude and as such the Moms still have a relationship that's lasted over 40 years and contain many cherished memories.”
