She was predeceased by: her husband Aime; and her parents, Trevor Foster and Evelyn Foster. She is survived by: her children, Courtney (Jim) and Trevor (Amy); her grandchildren, Trevor, Claire, Alec and Henry; her sisters, Janice (Gordon), Maureen and Shelley (Ken); her nieces and nephews, Amy, Matt, Jeff and Emily; and her sons, Brayden, Grayson and Gavin.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Gaylene may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
