He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Irene; his children, Olesia (Jason), Andriana (Adam) and Iyvan; his grandchildren, Valya, Nina and Mateo; his siblings, Martha (Lorne), Andrew (Katrusia) and Roma (Marvin); his sister-in-law Slava; his siblings' children, Danylo (Amy), Tamara, Talia (Jesse) and Alexandra (Charlotte); and his parents, Maria Chuchman and Ivan Chuchman.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sts. Vladimir & Olga Ukrainian Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral (115 McGregor St, Winnipeg, MB R2W4V6).
In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory can be made to Canada-Ukraine Foundation or St. Boniface Hospital Foundation.
