He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys and Georg; and his brothers, Ron and Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne; his children, Ken (Gayle), Barbara and Kelvin; his grandsons, Kyle and Ryan (Sydnee); his great grandchildren, Isla, Keanan and O. A. Rogers (Ben); and his caregivers, Nira, Kate, Susan, Brianna and Julia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers Dad asked that his favorite charities be supported; Cancer Care and Winnipeg Harvest.
